Progress?

The City has rejected progressing Amendment 88 and 90 in favour of progressing their new Local Planning Scheme. This is in spite of overwhelming community support in favour of lowering the zoning in Duncraig.

But Politicians and Councillors are beginning to understand that there is some intense community disquiet over the City's infill strategy:

The City has also rejected a proposal to put 14 Apartments on two blocks in Edgewater. Perhaps partly because of a huge turnout from the local community

It has engaged Consultants to run a series of workshops to find out how to achieve better planning outcomes. No dates have been announced yet though.

Keep up the pressure by contacting the Planning Minister and your local councillors!
